누리호, 한국의 우주발사체

누리호(KSLV-II)는 한국이 독자적인 기술로 개발한 우주발사체이다. 이 발사체는 한국항공우주연구원(KARI)이 주도하여 만들었다. 누리호는 2021년 10월에 처음 발사되었지만, 그때는 목표 궤도에 진입하는 데 성공하지 못했다. 그 후 한국은 문제점을 보완하며 다시 발사를 준비했다. 2022년 6월에 이루어진 두 번째 발사에서는 성능을 검증하기 위한 위성이 목표 궤도에 성공적으로 안착했다. 이로써 한국은 자국의 기술로 개발한 발사체로 위성을 우주 궤도에 올려놓은 나라가 되었다.
Translation
Nuri (KSLV-II) is a space launch vehicle that South Korea developed using its own independent technology. This launch vehicle was developed under the leadership of the Korea Aerospace Research Institute (KARI). Nuri was first launched in October 2021, but at that time it did not succeed in entering its target orbit. After that, Korea addressed the problems and prepared for another launch. In the second launch, which took place in June 2022, a satellite built to verify the rocket's performance successfully settled into its target orbit. With this, Korea became a country that had placed a satellite into orbit using a launch vehicle it developed with its own technology.
